EXETERSPITFIRES

The Exeter Spitfires were reformed in 2012 to bring Baseball and Softball back to they city of Exeter. Exeter's contribution streches back to 1824 and the birth of Henry Chadwick, who would later become one of Baseball's greatest pioneers. Find out more about Henry Chadwick in our history section.

The club currently operates an adult team in the South West Baseball League. Playing alongside the Plymouth Mariners, Torbay Barons and Bristol Bats. And for 2013 is aiming to run youth baseball and softball programmes for St. Lukes and St. Peters schools.

The Club welcomes players from both sexes and all abilities and experience, from former Major Leaguers (we wish!) to complete novices. All equipment can be provided along with qualified coaches to get you started.

New players are welcome to call in on any training sessions. Training take place on a Mondayand Thursday at 18:30 at St Lukes College. You'll find us on the playing field behind the football astrotrf pitches (weather permitting!)
